Research-based teaching in Mechanical Engineering is one of the major tasks of the RMO group. This includes course developement at undergraduate, graduate as well as Ph.D. level. Teaching focus is on Solid Mechanics, Finite-Element Method, Fatigue Design, Additive Manufacturing, Reliability Analysis, Design Optimization and Machine Learning. Modern teaching methods, such as hybrid and digital learning as well as active learning strategies are commonly employed to enhance the student learning experience.
