The focus of our research is on developing simulation-based models as well as data-driven methods for reliable design, materials and manufacturing. Our current reliability research involves:
Rami Mansour is an Assistant Professor at the department of Mechanical and Production Engineering at Aarhus University in Denmark and Docent at the Department of Engineering Mechanics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. He received the doctoral degree in Solid Mechanics in 2016 from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, with thesis entitled "Reliability Assessment and Probabilistic Optimization in Structural Design" and accomplised his Habilitation in Solid Mechanics at KTH in 2024, entitled "Reliability Modelling - Datadriven and Physics-based methods".
Dr. Mansour has been responsible for a number of mechanical and manufacturing engineering courses at undergraduate, graduate as well as Ph.D. level. He has taught the courses: Solid Mechanics basic course, Finite-Element Method for Engineering Applications, Fatigue, Machine learning and Additive Manufacturing.
